consists of

• READ VERIFY SECTOR(S) EXT

• SET MAX ADDRESS EXT

•WRITE DMA EXT

•WRITE MULTIPLE EXT

6.1.7 Device Configuration Overlay Command Set

The Intel X18-M/X25-M SATA SSDs support the Device Configuration Overlay command

set, which consists of

• DEVICE CONFIGURATION FREEZE LOCK

• DEVICE CONFIGURATION IDENTITY

• DEVICE CONFIGURATION RESTORE

• DEVICE CONFIGURATION SET

6.1.8 General Purpose Log Command Set

The Intel X18-M/X25-M SATA SSDs support the General Purpose Log command set,

which consists of

• READ LOG EXT

•WRITE LOG EXT

6.2 SATA Commands

The SATA 2.6 specification is a super set of the ATA/ATAPI-7 specification with regard to

supported commands. The Intel X18-M/X25-M SATA SSDs support the following

features that are unique to the SATA specification.

6.2.1 Software Settings Preservation

The Intel X18-M/X25-M SATA SSDs support the SET FEATURES parameter to enable/

disable the preservation of software settings.
