5.0 Connectors and LEDs
Connectors along the rear edge of AdvancedTCA* server blades are divided into three
distinct zones, as described in Section 2.3 of the PICMG 3.0 specification:
• Zone 1 for system management and power distribution
• Zone 2 for data fabric
• Zone 3 for the rear transition module (not used on the MPCBL0010 SBC)
As shown in Figure 10, the MPCBL0010 SBC includes several connectors to interface
with application-specific devices. Some of the connectors are available at the front
panel as shown in Figure 11. A detailed description and pinout for each connector is
found in the following sections.
